Terms and Conditions
- Individuals must enter details at shoplismorecbd.com.au and upload an image of a valid receipt.
- A valid receipt must be dated within the draw period 01.10.2024 to 28.10.2024, be from a participating Lismore CBD business and can only be used to enter the draw once.
- The October competition closes at midnight on the 28.10.2024
- The winner will be announced in the following week and will be notified via email and/or Phone.
- Entrants must be 18 years or older.
- If the prize is not claimed within 30 days from the announcement the prize will be re-drawn from the same pool of entrants. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. If the winners are uncontactable the organisers reserve the right to award the prize to another entrant.
- The winner’s name and postcode will be posted on shoplismorecbd.com.au and on social media platforms, Radio and possibly other media outlets.
- An unlimited number of valid entries can be submitted but a valid receipt can only be submitted once.
- Entries are limited to one valid receipt per business per day.
- Staff of businesses cannot enter at their place of employment.
- An entrant selected as the winner agrees to be involved in promoting the competition, including being photographed and interviewed and they agree that their name, image and likeness can be used for the purpose of announcing the winner to the public and in any articles or social media posts promoting the competition.
- An entrant will be disqualified if they breach the competition terms and conditions, by way of cheating to win the competition by having an unfair advantage or if they act in a way that infringes a third party’s intellectual property (IP).
- You agree to hold the contest organisers, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns harmless from and against—and hereby waive any right to pursue—any claims of any nature arising in connection with the Materials submitted to the organiser and used in any manner in the organiser’s sole and absolute discretion.
- Judges decision is final.
- The event organiser reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate any contest at any time without prior notice.
- The event organiser reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to alter any contest rules at any time without prior notification to any party.
- The entrant acknowledges and agrees that if the Prize or Promotion Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation.
- The Promoter has no responsibility to accept late, lost or misdirected entries.
- Prize-winners acknowledge that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize.
- Nothing in the terms limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia
