Lismore GEMFEST

Andy & Anne – Gems and More

If you love colour, sparkle and the thrill of discovering something truly special, make sure Gems and More is on your must-visit list at this year’s Lismore Gemfest.

After retiring from the Public Service, Andy decided it was time to follow a passion — and that passion was gemstones. What started as a post-retirement interest has grown into a thriving business that’s been running for 10 years. Seven years ago, Anne joined the adventure, and the sibling duo have been travelling to gem shows ever since.

And lucky for us, this will be their 9th year at Lismore Gemfest.

What You’ll Find at Their Stall

If it sparkles, shines or catches the light — there’s a good chance you’ll find it here.

Andy began by specialising in sapphires, but these days their range has expanded to include all the favourites:

  • Emerald

  • Ruby

  • Aquamarine

  • Garnet

  • Topaz

  • Amethyst

(About the only gem they don’t sell is Opal!)

But that’s just the beginning.

They’ll also be bringing a selection of rare and unusual gemstones, including:

  • Alexandrite

  • Zultanite

  • Colourless Mali Garnets

  • Trapiche Emeralds

  • Rare Sapphires

For jewellery lovers, there’s a huge range of silver jewellery starting at just $35, including silver and gemstone earrings, as well as gold rings.

And this year, they’re introducing something extra special…

New This Year – Estate Jewellery

For the first time at Lismore Gemfest, Gems and More will be showcasing a beautiful range of Estate Jewellery, including:

  • Gold chains

  • Bracelets

  • Rings

With rings priced at:

  • $395

  • $595

  • And statement pieces up to $2,000

Whether you’re shopping for a milestone piece, an investment, or simply something stunning, there’s something here to suit a wide range of budgets.

Their Favourite Pieces

Among all the sparkle, one collection stands out as a personal favourite:

Handmade Buffalo Horn jewellery.

They’ll be bringing:

  • Combs

  • Hair clips

  • Bangles

Most priced at just $25.

These pieces are beautifully crafted, practical, and make fabulous gifts — especially if you’re looking for something unique and a little different.

Who Will Love This Stall?

  • Families (there are free gifts for the little ones!)

  • Beginner collectors

  • Serious gemstone enthusiasts

  • Jewellery lovers

  • Gift shoppers

  • Rare gem collectors

They stock everything from affordable jewellery to rare and unusual collectable gems — so whether you’re spending $25 or $2,000, you’ll feel welcome.

Something Truly Unique

And here’s something you might not expect…

Andy and Anne also run two-week gem-themed tours to Thailand and Vietnam.

These incredible trips include:

  • Visits to gem dealers

  • Mine tours

  • Local markets

  • Cultural sightseeing

  • And plenty of amazing street food

If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing where gemstones actually come from, this could be your next adventure.

Why They Love Lismore Gemfest

“Lismore Gemfest is by far the biggest, best and most fun gem show of the year! We love coming down every year — I think this is our 9th year — and we always look forward to it!”

And we’re pretty sure Lismore Gemfest loves having them too.

Make sure you stop by Gems and More at Lismore Gemfest — you never know what treasure you might discover.
